On all print materials, Scientific Sessions is the dominant logo
but is shown in conjunction with the modified American Heart Association
signature. Where multiple pages are involved (e.g. Scientific Sessions
program), the established information hierarchy should be followed,
with increasing relevance to a particular sub-specialty within the
context of Scientific Sessions.
All of
the variable type is shown in Times Roman to balance the dominance
of the Helvetica Scientific Sessions logo. Where applicable, the
color bands always line up with the logo on the left, are flush
right and sit on the bottom of the page. In all print executions,
the URL must be included with the American Heart logo. Some formats
are shown in both 2- and 4-color. Where only a 4-color version is
shown, it may be produced as 2-color by simply deleting the entire
color block in the lower right hand corner.

The background may be either white or black. The treatment and placement
of the logos and red bar may not be altered. Horizontally, the title
information should be flush left, one band width to the right of
the red band, and should not extend past the beginning of the color
bars. Vertically, the title information should be approximately
centered around the bottom of two imaginary lines which divide the
space between the bottom of the Scientific Sessions logo and the
top of the color bars into thirds (but not extend past the top of
the color bands).
